Hello!
I’m Pastor Steve, and I’m delighted that you’re checking out our HPLC website. I’d love to talk with you about our church and its unique and exciting ministry here in the Highland Park neighborhood of southern San Antonio. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I grew up in southern Minnesota, graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. My wife, Lynn, and I have been married 33 years, and I still get goose bumps when she walks in the room. We have three children: Philip-24, Julia-21, and Andrew-18. |

I’ve been a parish pastor for 25 years, serving
congregations from Wisconsin to Texas in a variety of ministries from
Sr. Pastor to Mission Developer. I came to HPLC in May 2007 as a Pastor
for redevelopment. Southern San Antonio is experiencing a renaissance in manufacturing, higher education, and new home development. Here at HPLC we’re in the neighborhood for good, working with our city officials and neighborhood schools to develop community partnerships that help serve our neighbors. I’ll see you in church! |
